Scripture of the Week

This Week’s Scripture Readings 🌿

Join us as we walk through God’s Word together each day! Let these verses encourage and strengthen your faith throughout the week.

Monday: Luke 21:5–19

Jesus tells His followers that the temple will one day fall and warns them about coming trials. He reminds them not to fear—God will give them the words and strength they need. Their endurance in faith will lead to salvation.

Tuesday: Jeremiah 33:1–15

While Jeremiah is imprisoned, God speaks hope: Israel will be restored, cities rebuilt, and God’s promises fulfilled. A righteous Branch—pointing to the Messiah—will come and bring justice and salvation.

Wednesday: 1 Timothy 5:11–16

Paul gives guidance on caring for widows in the early church. He encourages believers to live responsibly, serve faithfully, and avoid behaviors that lead to division or gossip, focusing instead on doing good.

Thursday: Psalm 71

A prayer of trust from someone who has walked with God since youth. The psalmist asks for God’s protection in old age and promises to continue praising Him for His faithfulness and saving power.

Friday: Ephesians 2:11–22

Paul reminds believers that through Christ, those once far from God have been brought near. Jesus breaks down walls of division, making all believers one family—God’s household—built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.

Saturday: John 20:1–10

Early on the first Easter morning, Mary Magdalene finds the tomb empty. She alerts Peter and John, who run to the tomb. Seeing the linen cloths left behind, they begin to understand that Jesus has risen.
