Our main goal

Our main goal for Tuckerton UMC is to be used by God to reach people and build fruitful lives in Christ, strengthening our faith in God and together transform the world. We want to be a beacon of hope to the Jersey Shore and beyond.

A message from our Pastor

Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As people of faith, we live our lives believing that God can do something special around us. We believe He can heal, He can restore, He can continue to bless the hearts of those in need. It is our calling to invite others to Him and lift our voices to tell the world that Jesus saves. That is our main goal. We are disciples of Christ and we invite others to be disciples so together we can transform the world. How can we transform the world? Just by making an impact one person at a time. Share with others how your relationship with God has made your faith stronger.

I invite you to grow your relationship with God. We need to connect with Him every day. We can pray, read the Bible, meditate as we see our surroundings and marvel at God’s creation. There is always an opportunity to connect and grow spiritually, even in the deserts or storms of life. His Spirit guides us every day. As we continue our journey together in ministry, I invite you to see God’s work in your life. Let his Spirit use you as a witness of Grace and Love. Like the Apostle Paul said: “Do Good to everyone, especially to those who are of the household of faith”.

May God bless us,

Pastor Jason

Who we are...

We are an affirming Christian community where all are welcome. We are intentional about our faith development: we ask questions, develop deep and lasting friendships, support families of all shapes and sizes and work together to make a positive difference in our community.

Nobody is perfect here, but being a part of this place brings out the best of us. We give and receive forgiveness and experience God's grace through bread and cup, study and service, prayer, people and family.

Tuckerton UMC cares about one thing more than anything else: Jesus Christ. Our Church is a family of individuals who have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

We make a concerted effort to use our time and talents to further God’s work in the world.

While we look outward, we also look inward. We care for our members through celebrations, challenges, and times of sorrow. We study the Bible and worship God joyfully. We like to break bread together and need no excuse to have luncheons, dinners, or desserts.

This is what our church is all about. We invite you to join us and become part of our continuing story.

You are welcome here!
