In-Person Worship Registration

Here you can reserve a seat for an in-person worship service in the sanctuary.

Why are we required to register?

Tuckerton United Methodist Church is currently following the guidelines set by the NJ Health Department regarding meetings in places of worship. In order to do this, we must manage the number of people who are attending a worship service at any particular time.

COVID-19 Policy Reminder:

Our deepest desire is to keep you and all who enter our doors as safe as possible. Here are a few important reminders as COVID cases continue to multiply in the Borough.

1) If you are ill, please stay home and let us know how we can serve you.

2) Worship from home if that best meets your health and safety needs. Join us on YouTubeFacebook, and Church Online for online worship. You can also call (609) 212-0432 to worship by phone call. Anywhere you worship with us, whether in the sanctuary of your home or in person, you are part of our Church Family.

3) In-person Worship at 9:30 a.m. has a limited capacity of 75 people in the sanctuary plus volunteers and staff.

4) When you arrive for in-person worship on Sunday mornings, ensure that all adults and children age 2 and up are wearing a mask. If you do not have a mask, we will be happy to provide one. We ask that you use the North Entrance doors to enter the facilities. South Entrance doors are also available for those that need ramp access.

5) Our Hospitality team will receive you, take your temperature, and guide you to ensure safe distancing.

6) Touchless hand sanitizer stations are available in the facilities.

Contact Tracing Policy Reminder:

1) Please self monitor your health.

2) If you don't feel well after a worship service and decide to get a COVID test, please contact Pastor and keep us informed of any results.

3) If you have been tested for COVID but have not received your results before a Sunday Worship Service, please stay home until you have your results.

4) Should someone come down with COVID and affect our church body, we will contact all members.

5) If we need to quarantine for COVID, we will have online worship services until we can resume public worship.

Note: Even though we do maintain our facilities cleaned and sanitized, Tuckerton United Methodist Church (“TUMC”) cannot prevent its members, visitors, participants, or employees of TUMC from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while utilizing TUMC’s services or premises. It is not possible to prevent the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to utilize or attend TUMC services and/or enter onto TUMC’s premises, you may be exposing yourself and any other participants, members, or employees and/or increasing participants, members, and/or employees’ risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

By registering for the service you are recognizing there can be a risk of being exposed to, contract, and/or spread COVID-19. You also accept the sole responsibility and duty to prevent the spread of COVID-19 while at TUMC’s services or premises and use good faith, good judgment, due diligence, and reasonable care in their actions and follow all Federal, State, and Local orders, rules, and guidelines regarding COVID-19.
